Greetings from the Superintendent

Dear Friends,
Welcome to the Church of The Apostles. Our congregation is alive and well in Jesus Christ our Lord!
Indeed, the Church of The Apostles is a multi-generational fellowship that is steadily growing in the power of the Holy Spirit and our knowledge and love of the Lord.
We are an Evangelical Anglican church, that is, an autonomous Christian Congregation rooted in the doctrinal and ordered liturgical tradition of the Anglican family of churches. We therefore, would further define ourselves as “Christians proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ who worship in the Anglican tradition.” Our weekly celebrations of the Holy Eucharist are a concerted attempt on our part to effectively balance the biblical ministry of Word and Sacrament.
Our church offers a host of ministries, several educational opportunities, and much fellowship and joy in Christ. We hope that you find our website to be an effective tool that will allow you to get further acquainted with all that God is doing in and through the good people of this congregation.
Again, I welcome you to our church family and pray that “the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, will be with us all ever more” (2 Corinthians 13:14).
Yours in Christ,
The Reverend Mark R. Galloway |

Church Council
The Church of The Apostles is a “congregational episcopacy” mirroring the early church (see Acts 6:1-7). We are a church governed by a “Church Council,” which consists of the Superintendent (episcopos) who serves the body as chief sacramental and pastoral minister; a Board of ordained Elders (presbyters) who share with the Superintendent in overseeing the doctrine, discipline and worship of the congregation; and a Board of Servants/ordained Diaconal Ministers (deacons) who are responsible for the temporal needs of the church.
